The long awaited next iteration in the Solana Hackathon bloodline is here: Hyperdrive.
Solana Hackathons are where the founders of the future are found. Buildoors of tomorrow showcase their skills against the creme of the crop, and battle test their ideas and capabilities to the max.
The Solana online hackathons have led to some tremendous developments, with previous winners, like Mango Markets, going on to become industry giants.
But what makes Hyperdrive so special?
What is the Hyperdrive Hackathon?
Solana’s Hyperdrive Hackathon is a global, online competition curated to breed growth in the Solana ecosystem.
For those daring and bright enough to build a web3 or crypto startup, Hyperdrive is the perfect opportunity to prove you have what it takes to build in the most competitive industry on the planet.
Solana Hackathons are a little bit different from traditional hackathons. Taking place over a 6-week period, they are designed for serious developers and entrepreneurs to compete on multiple levels. Teams must formulate a business idea, sprint through development, and pitch the product to our panel of judges.
They test the core fundamentals of a web3 business.

To date, Solana Hackathons have awarded over $600m in prizes, with winners pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Hyperdrive is no different, with a $1m prize pool and seed funding is on the table.

Track awards are standardised across all tracks, and follow the format below

Finding your fit
We have curated a bank of 200+ ideas for those who may be struggling with ideation. We help ideate with them on this idea, use that idea bank as inspiration, SuperteamUK will help you uncover your target market, Present yourselves to them, and build in a way that solves their biggest pains.
We are with you at every step to ensure you are following the best practices in building, launching and presenting your work!
Developer Support
SuperteamUK offers up a team of veteran Solana devs to offer support. Hackathons can get messy, so whether you need code reviews and suggestions, or just someone to lean on for advice, we will provide the support you need to stay on track.
We will be offering our Build Station for FREE to hackathon participants! Build Station is our Co-Working space in Huckletree, located in Oxford Circus. It will be open in the last 2 weeks of the Hackathon, from the 2nd to the 16th of October during regular working hours.
Build Station is where you can get 1-on-1 support from industry professionals, work alongside other participants, and give you a place where you and your team can build!
Bonus: you get to meet some of the other SuperteamUK community!
Post-Build Support
Once you’ve built your product, SuperteamUK will guide you through the pitching process, and have experts on hand to support you in showcasing your work in the best light.
On top of that, our partner web3 talent firm, BEExperience, will be supporting Hyperdrive participants in becoming the most competitive candidate possible.

SuperteamUK Hackathon Winners
Recently, one of our own SuperteamUK community members, MoonBoiStudios, won the Solana Speedrun Hackathon - the first ever gaming hackathon on Solana!
Since winning, he has managed to expand his audience, gain traction on his project - with SuperteamUK facilitating a speaker position - have investors approach him, and even had UK rap legend Big Narstie play his game!
Solana Hackathons put you on the fast track to growth, with winners going on to conquer mountains.
Eligibility for UK Support
To be eligible for SuperteamUK support, the following must be met;
You must be based in the UK or have a UK Passport
You are building a Web3 startup and keen to build on Solana
You are a SuperteamUK member (All UK submissions automatically become members)
