This November The Fireworks Weren’t Just In The Sky. Founders Were Celebrated & Our Ecosystem Thrived Ready To Wrap Up 2024.
You are probably thinking that at some point, SuperteamUK must slow down. Inevitably, the complete opposite is true. November was a month when we doubled down on our thesis that decentralisation is the future of work in Britain.
Here’s exactly how we did it👇
UK & Ireland’s Colosseum Dominance🏆
Colosseum wasn’t an overnight success. Our founders and teams worked overtime during Co-Working Fridays, Buildstations and sometimes whilst in the gym!
Our commitment to providing resources, alpha and opportunities was validated by how the UK & Ireland performed during Colosseum Radar hackathon.
Meet The Winners 🥇
Congratulations to Grand Champions @reflectcx building a decentralised currency exchange based on delta-neutral stablecoins.
Public good award went to @attestprotocol for building an open-source product which benefits Solana devs!
Receiving the Climate award @end_corp building a network of ground stations to measure the sea surface temperature creating a climate marker that underpins a dual token economy.
Focusing on the tracks, we had several projects building within their narratives receive the seal of approval by the Colosseum judges.
3rd place in consumer apps was @GensisDotApp, providing a novel way to incubate and launch stories! A collaborative win alongside our dear friends over at SuperteamBLKN
Placing 4th in the consumer apps track, we have @FANPLAYGG building a degens playground.
@AdXso_ building identity, attribution and advertising technology for web 3, successfully claimed 2nd place in the DePin track.
Within the DAOs and Network states track our startups placed 3rd and 4th with @Bizzed_AI claiming 3rd and @Living_IP claiming 4th!
In payments we had @quartzpay claiming 5th place allowing users to spend crypto without selling assets!
An honorary mention goes out to @POW_cards bridging IRL and digital wallets as well as @unruggable_io a privacy-focused software and hardware security wallet.
One of the standout highlights of Radar was that 50% of the winners hailed from Europe, with many of them sharing credit across Superteams. This exemplifies the power of collaboration and innovation that transcends borders.
Events, Events, Events!
By now, we all know that IRL meet-ups play a key part in the growth of our ecosystem. So as usual, we had plenty of them this month.
Friday Co-Working
Fridays are for co-working, and we love it. Until recently, this opportunity was exclusive to those in and around London. But now, we’ve expanded to bring the experience to every corner of the UK—and even helped launch a co-working space in Dublin, Ireland.

Redbull Gaming Sphere
Yes, building is exciting, but sometimes you need to reconnect with your roots and enjoy the thrill of playing a game or two. This month, we worked with ToTheMoonExpo to bring gamers together for an action-packed day of tournaments and workshops.
Web3 AI Hackathon
AI and Web3 have dominated our timelines in recent years, but it’s essential to recognize how seamlessly these two technologies complement each other.
To highlight this synergy, we unveiled our Future of Work Report and showcased the simplicity of earning in Web3, offering $5,000 in bounties for developers, creators, and researchers.
MonkeDAO Meetups
We’re always thrilled to host Monkes for dinner—it’s the perfect time to catch up and chat about how absolutely bananas this Web3 world has become!
Dawn Breakfast in Somerset
DAWN stopped by BuildStop and brought a delicious breakfast spread and some knowledge for Solana developers. Massive shout-out to Neil and James for coming down!

Every now and then, we, the chronically online, must step away from the pixels on our screens and take in some brush strokes to fuel the mind.
A first-ever group exhibition by SceneSpaces at the beautiful Old Session House featuring some of the greatest artists on Solana was just the place to do that.
UCL Lecture
Once again, Cap and Hieu headed back to UCL to deliver a lecture on the Future of work in Britain and an in introduction to Solana.
House of Commons
Later in the month, we had the privilege of educating policymakers alongside Stand With Crypto UK & Steven Bartlett.
We saw UK teams such as JurnyOn, Assiterr and Agridex proudly representing SuperteamUK with Agridex going on to win the startup competition.

Lisa McClory is our Member of the Month with her excellent effort towards the production of our Web3 legal playbook, 'The Founders Guide to UK Crypto Law'!"
Her ability to rally together the greatest minds in UK Law, getting experts from the likes of Mischcon de Reya, Outlier Ventures, Andersen LLP, Gunnercooke and Animoca, Lisa has produced an outstanding piece of work that will not only remove the legal shroud of understanding for blockchain founders and developers for FREE but also has the ability to propagate similar legal guides for other Superteams globally.
